This store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase using the Services or otherwise communicate with us.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect:

Contact details — name, email address, billing address, phone number if you provide one.
Payment information — handled by Shopify Payments and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
Account information — email, password, order history, downloads, subscription status if you join The Sunday Club.
Transaction information — items viewed or purchased, cart contents, past orders and refunds.
Communications — what you write to us (contact form, email, support).
Device and usage information — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site, cookies and similar technologies.

Where it comes from

Directly from you (account, checkout, email signup, contact form).
Automatically through the site (cookies, device data).
From service providers who process it on our behalf (Shopify, payment processors, email delivery, analytics, advertising).

How we use it

Deliver your files, process payments, run your account and The Sunday Club.
Answer support and send transactional emails (order confirmation, download links, billing reminders).
Send the Sunday email only if you opted in. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. Opting in is never required to buy a book.
Show you ads (including Meta) based on site activity, if you have not declined advertising cookies.
Prevent fraud, secure the store, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Shopify and vendors who run payments, hosting, email, analytics, customer support and advertising on our behalf.
Marketing partners (for example Meta) when you have not opted out of advertising cookies. You can decline those cookies in the banner.
When required by law, or in connection with a sale of the business.

Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services. Information you submit is transmitted to Shopify and may be processed in countries other than where you live. Shopify’s own processing is described in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the cart and checkout working. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional; you can decline them in the cookie banner. Declining advertising cookies does not stop you from buying a book.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of targeted advertising. Email hello@sundaytablepress.com. We respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by law.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email in one click. You cannot unsubscribe from emails required to deliver a purchase or run a membership you asked for (download links, receipts, billing reminders) while that relationship lasts.

Retention and security

We keep order and account records as long as needed to deliver files, handle refunds, tax and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we use Shopify’s standard safeguards.

Children

The Services are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes that affect The Sunday Club will also be emailed to members.
